Stuart and I settled in Dunedin in 2013 in a strawbale home my husband built. My background is in health, though I also worked for three years as a journalist.
Since retiring, my voluntary roles have included being a Trustee for Dunedin Curtain Bank, reading Thursday’s ODT editorial for Blind Low Vision NZ and ushering at Dunedin Symphony Orchestra concerts. In the past, I have enjoyed helping former refugees learn english with English Language Partners.
Other interests include gardening, line dancing, training our dogs in obedience and scenting, and our donkeys in agility. We are sometimes seen around in our restored 2CV.
I am very much looking forward to supporting community projects and getting to know our community in depth.
