The DCC is undertaking a proactive renewal programme of capital works throughout Dunedin City and its wider area. We are working to replace and upgrade various 3 Waters infrastructure including the pipes and pump stations, as well as other assets that help to treat and carry our drinking water, wastewater (foul sewer) and stormwater to help meet the growing needs of our beautiful city.

Projects in this section are in the planning stages. This may include early investigations or the design phase. Some of these projects may move to construction as soon as the designs are complete. Others may be put on hold pending approved budgets and contractor availability.

Other projects
As we are delivering a complex capital renewal programme, priorities and timings can be subject to change. Some projects may be reprioritised for various reasons, including accommodating plan enabled growth or the recently approved Future Development Strategy.
