There are a variety of parking spaces available for lease in and around the city.
To discuss the different parking options, find out which parking space might best suit your needs, or to get added to the wait list for a parking space, contact us on +64 3 477 4000. Once a parking space becomes available we will get in touch.
Paying for your leased parking space
Leased parking spaces must be paid for by direct debit. Payments can be made weekly, fortnightly, or monthly.
Cancelling your leased parking space
To cancel your leased parking space you must notify the DCC in writing at least 14 days before the cancellation date.
Notices of cancellation can be emailed to FleetOps@dcc.govt.nz.
Someone parked in your parking space
If another vehicle is parked in your parking space, get in touch with us straight away by phone on 03 477 4000 or email FleetOps@dcc.govt.nz. We will need your contact details, your car and parking space details, and the details of the vehicle parked in your parking space.
You can then park for free on any nearby Pay By Plate metered parking space. Let us know where you have parked your car so we don't ticket you.
Please note: we are not currently accepting new applications for the Great King Street leased parking space wait list.
