My principal place of residence is in the Dunedin City Council area.
An experienced Councillor since 2013, I’ve been active on the Saddle Hill and Peninsula Community Boards, Chair of Economic Development Committee, RMA Commissioner and various council appointments. I’m active in the community as a Rotarian, Chair of Volunteer South and Chair of Dunedin Community House. An experienced small business owner, I have a common-sense approach to getting things done.
I’m very focused on growing our city’s economic opportunities, increasing employment and seeing Dunedin companies grow. We need to improve the city’s infrastructure yet still balance finances. Also Investing in issues facing our city include housing shortages and climate change.
We must improve our city profile with politicians in Wellington for greater investment in the city and continue to work hard for improved health and social services for all residents and continue to advocate for the new hospital.
