My principal place of residence is in the Dunedin City Council area. I am also standing for Mayor.
I have spent my entire career self-employed in the Information Technology sector, giving me a clear understanding of how systems should run efficiently, transparently, and sustainably. I am standing for Council because I believe Dunedin City Council needs fresh vision, decisive leadership, and practical planning to serve not only today’s residents but future generations as well. My goal is straightforward: leave Dunedin in significantly better shape than it is today, ensuring that in 50 years’ time our successors benefit from the solid infrastructure and forward-thinking decisions we make now. I value independent thought, logic over ideology, and decision-making based purely on what is best for our city. I am not seeking popularity or chasing headlines; I am here to work hard, prioritise core services, ensure fiscal responsibility, actively support local businesses, and genuinely make Dunedin a better place to live, work, and thrive for everyone.
