My principal place of residence is in the Dunedin City Council area.
I come from a tradition of service. My parents were councilors on Bluff borough council and Invercargill city after amalgamation. I was raised serving the communities of Bluff and Invercargill and assisted in a wide range of community fund-raising projects including starting the Bluff Oyster Festival with my mother Lenore Hart QSM. I have a diverse history of work experience which ranges from Traffic Officer to Cinema Technical manager, highlights being Program manager of Digital Media and Visual Arts at S.I.T, Designer of Te Hikoi Museum in Riverton and Designer, Director and Performer with Musical Theatre and Repertory companies in Southland. I have degrees in Classics and Fine Arts, a graduate diploma in secondary teaching and am working on A PHD with Otago. I believe that service is an important part of what make us good Kiwis. I am Kati Mamoe, Rakiura, Waitaha and Scots and proud to be.
