My principal place of residence is in the Dunedin City Council area. I am also standing for Mayor.
As Deputy Chairperson of Dunedin Community House, I helped relocate 23 non-profits when we faced $2.5 million in repairs to save our central social services hub; President of Brain Injury New Zealand.
Rates keep climbing from short-term thinking. I have quit my job to fix this. My Fully Funded Council creates a KiwiSaver for the city by selling 40% of Aurora Energy. This fund will permanently lower your rates. Several councillors support this, together we'll deliver it.
AI will slash building consent times by half. Smart sensors will stop water leaks and save millions. Every service faster, cheaper. Lower rates doesn't mean cutting community support. I'll double community group funding because every dollar returns massive social value.
