My principal place of residence is in the Dunedin City Council area. I am also standing for Council - At Large.
I'm standing for Mayor of Dunedin to bring decisive leadership, accountability, and common sense back to Council.
Our city deserves a Mayor who listens, leads with integrity, and focuses on what really matters: delivering essential services, managing finances wisely, and representing the will of the people — not political agendas. I will lead a fiscally responsible Council that cuts waste, reduces debt, and delivers a 5% rates reduction followed by a three-year rates freeze. I also support freezing councillor salaries for that period. My leadership style is practical, efficient, and people-focused — prioritising outcomes over bureaucracy. I bring a fresh vision backed by real economic solutions that grow local business and employment through public-private partnerships, without burdening ratepayers. As Mayor, I’ll restore public trust by leading a Council that gets the basics right, puts ratepayers first, and makes Dunedin a place we can all be proud to call home.
