My principal place of residence is in the Dunedin City Council area. I am also standing for Council - At Large.
You save for your future. It’s time our council showed the same common sense. Instead, we've seen relentless rate hikes of 17%, then 10%, and now another 10%. This is the result of short-term thinking.
As President of Brain Injury New Zealand, I united 13 regions, restructured the board, rewrote the constitution, and secured increased ACC funding nationwide. I've fought for you in Wellington and won. Now, I'll fight for you locally.
I have quit my job to deliver a real plan. First, my Fully Funded City Council creates a KiwiSaver for the city by selling 40% of Aurora Energy, permanently lowering your rates and doubling community group funding. Second, using AI and technology, we will deliver every service faster and cheaper, slashing consent times and saving millions.
As Mayor, I will bring my proven experience and the vision to get this done.
