My principal place of residence is in the Mosgiel-Taieri Community Board area.
I have lived in this community for the last 50 Years.
When I left school, I started working in an automotive workshop. I then went onto retailing used and new motor vehicles. A few years later I had the opportunity to manage the company. The company was sold in 2007.
I then worked in Marketing, as a tyre technician, gold panning demonstrator and then as head guide/driver and the health and safety delegate in the high-end tourism industry.
My Taieri and Dunedin area community volunteering includes Round Table, St Johns cadets, Trainer & governance, Arthur Burns school committee, Taieri Junior Rugby admin / coaching, Taieri swimming club and recent years a volunteer and Trustee of Taieri Network.
Working on committees both local and at national level has given me the needed skills to bring to the Taieri Community Board.
