My principal place of residence is in the Mosgiel-Taieri Community Board area.
In 2023 I was nominated to stand in the bi-election for a single place on the Mosgiel-Taieri Community Board.
Promoting myself and my views publicly was not something that came naturally, but I really enjoyed the process and, in the end, felt disappointed not to have been elected. I discovered during that election that I have a lot to offer our community in terms of sensible and evidence-based thinking.
I like interacting with people and listening to their ideas and, if given the opportunity, will work hard to create practical solutions for problems affecting our community.
My husband and I moved to Mosgiel in 2017, and we are convinced this is a great area for our family to be. Our children attend primary school, swimming lessons and play in sports teams here in Mosgiel and we love the close-knit community feel.
