My principal place of residence is in the Saddle Hill Community Board area. I am also standing for Mayor and Council - At Large.

Born and bred in Dunedin and lucky to be living in beautiful Brighton. I have 15+years’ experience and qualifications in Finance (in NZL & London), Business Management and Communication. I’ve seen the Councils financial projections; within 4 years cashflow deficits from (-$71.7M) to (-$140M) and projected debt going from $750M to $1.1B, with no plans to repay any loans. Our council is in trouble.
I will utilise my financial experience to vote against any further wasteful DCC spending and to Cap Rates now, pending an urgent review to avoid further spiralling debt. Eg. I will vote no to the Brighton Landfill cost $94M, exploring other alternatives.
Dunedin is special, it’s time to get real, and secure our local Council financially for our current and future generations.
