I’m new to the Strath Taieri community, having recently purchased the Strath Taieri Hotel in Middlemarch with my partner, a local born and raised here. I divide my time between Dunedin and Middlemarch and have been warmly welcomed by this resilient, hard-working community where family, history, and local pride run deep.
With over 25 years’ experience in strategic leadership, financial and operational management, and community development across the private and non-profit sectors, I’m eager to give back. The Community Board’s priorities, restoring rail access, supporting local groups, enhancing public spaces, and strengthening community resilience align strongly with my values.
I’m passionate about helping the valley thrive and ensuring all voices are heard. I believe in practical support, strong advocacy, and forward momentum for the region.
I’m always up for a chat and committed to being an approachable, effective voice for Strath Taieri.
