My principal place of residence is in the Strath Taieri Community Board area.
Hello, I’m a second generation farmer in the Strath Taieri area, raised in the Lee Stream district, schooled at Lee Stream and Otago Boys High School. I have been in the area the bulk of my life, apart from an eight year stint in the Maniototo. My wife Alison and I raised our three children in the Strath Taieri, I returned to the Strath Taieri three years ago to farm at Hindon.
I know the area well and understand the issues the area faces. I’m standing for the Community Board to give our area a voice around the community table and maintain a farmer’s point of view, because the Strath Taieri / Dunedin City need the people who work the land to be able to function well.
