My principal place of residence is in the Strath Taieri Community Board area.
My association with the Strath Taieri dates to the land development and settlement era of the 70s, and inception of the Rail Trail in the late 80s.
I have a huge appreciation of, and affinity for, the area having owned my property near Sutton for 20 years.
In re-standing for our local Board I am very keen to continue encouraging greater community engagement in the future of our area and ensuring our voice is heard in those arenas where it matters.
I bring a wide range of national and international land and resource management experience to the table having worked across a number of locations in a range of roles.
While experienced at strategic and operational levels, including negotiating across a wide spectrum of views, I also retain a strong Community focus. Establishment of the Strath Taieri Connect Charitable Trust and the Community Board Fb page being two local examples.
