My principal place of residence is in the Waikouaiti Coast Community Board area.
My name is Brian McCutcheon and I have put my name forward for the Waikouaiti Community Board elections.
My wife and I retired to Waikouaiti 18 months ago after myself having worked for PGG Wrightson as a business manager across the South Island for 47 years.
We have had a property in Waikouaiti on and off since 2001.
My reason for standing is that I would like to give back to an area that offers a lot to the people who live here. It is a great community.
I believe the Community Board can be a far better conduit for keeping the community informed on what the Council is actually doing in the Waikouaiti and wider area on an annual basis.
I stand for your community board with the goal of improving communication and understanding of what the DCC is doing/planning for our area.
