My principal place of residence is in the West Harbour Community Board area.
I’m seeking re-election for a 3rd term.
Over the past 3 years our Community Board has made a difference in communities all across the West Harbour area, from Ravensbourne, up to Aramoana, and over to Pūrākaunui. It’s been a productive term, working with good people.
Personal highlights include helping save the accessible Port Chalmers library parking, pushing for greater scrutiny of local water supply issues, and advocating for Number 14 bus users.
The worst thing was the Government’s cancellation of the social housing rebuild in Albertson Ave in Port Chalmers. People need those homes. I want political parties to recommit to the rebuild on that site before next year’s general election.
