Kia ora e te whānau
Ko Heike Cebulla tōku ikoa, and I am a happy resident of Ōtepoti Dunedin. This city has been my home for over 25 years, and I share it with my partner, Phil, and my youngest son, Liam. I am a trained geographer and teacher, and have worked in various roles since I arrived in Aotearoa in 1995, including tour guiding, director of a tour company, mother to three children, and teacher of languages and humanities.
My vision for Ōtepoti is a city that cares for its environment and all people, as both form the underlying foundations for a thriving community in the long term. Whanaungatanga (relationships) and kotahitanga (unity) will guide me to represent all citizens of Ōtepoti, as we work together to create a liveable, climate resilient city with healthy homes, well-supported active transport and innovative infrastructure to support our growing population.
