My principal place of residence is in the Dunedin City Council area. I am also standing for Otago Peninsula Community Board.

Born and educated in Dunedin I’ve spent 12 years on the Otago Peninsula Community Board, 9 as its chairman. I have put myself forward for the City Council because this city needs experienced community leaders with governance and planning experience. My skills have been created in my grass roots representation over the last 12 years. Doing what’s right as a problem-solver to find solutions and put a plan into place for the benefit of the community. I’m a grounded person, in touch with people and the environment. We must have a City Council that puts our community first and is focussed on the needs of Dunedin and its issues. Lately, the City Council seems to have lost its way and forgotten that it’s this community it needs to deliver too. I have the right qualities, experience and drive to represent you on the Dunedin City Council.
