My principal place of residence is in the Dunedin City Council area. I am also standing for Council - At Large.
Now more than ever, Dunedin needs strong leadership, competence and fierce advocacy to realise its potential as a great small city.
We have a world class tertiary sector, a new hospital, a passionate business community, a deep water port, and an unsurpassed natural environment. More importantly, we have a deeply parochial community that understands without explanation what makes Dunedin special. All of us are invested in creating a better future for Dunedin.
I am not a career politician. My experience is real, gained from building one of New Zealand’s most successful businesses from nothing, leading large teams of people, collaborating with others and working relentlessly towards an outcome. That is what I now offer to Dunedin.
Dunedin needs a strong Mayor who will lead without fear, and we need that now.
