My principal place of residence is in the Dunedin City Council area. I am also standing for Council - At Large.
If you want a successful city with leadership that listens, I am here to serve you as Mayor for another term.
As a businessman with practical skills and an Otago science degree, my strategic overview has produced pragmatic, cost-effective solutions to long-neglected problems.
As your Mayor, I committed to practical plans for transport, water, waste, and debt. As a result, George St is still driveable, the 1-way system is saved, roundabouts flow and parking is preserved. Investment in water infrastructure has doubled and South Dunedin will finally get flood protection and a library. A new landfill is consented and recycling facilities are under construction. Council debt will flatten in 5 years.
Water, waste and power lines are all ours.
Our full-sized new hospital is under construction, international flights restored and the Taieri Gorge Railway saved.
As Mayor, I will focus on more jobs and better incomes for Dunedin.
