My principal place of residence is in the Mosgiel-Taieri Community Board area.
A proud descendant of the Peat and Read families, I bring strong local roots and proven leadership to the Community Board. I spent 30 years as a Regional Manager with BNZ and 20 years running management businesses in Queensland. I currently National President of the Retirement Village Residents Association, representing over 55,000 residents nationwide.
My focus:
Strengthening community engagement with DCC; Improving Mosgiel’s presentation; Fixing footpaths (Gordon/Factory Roads); Easing traffic at the Gordon Rd junction; Advancing flood protection for the Taieri.
Community Boards need to focus on the smaller ticket issues for the community.
What I have Delivered:
I am proud to lead the Silverstream Beautification Project, uniting all Mosgiel schools in a successful community initiative.
I won’t make promises I can’t keep — but I will continue to give 100% effort as your advocate on the Board.
