My principal place of residence is in the Saddle Hill Community Board area.
It has been an honour to participate in the Saddle Hill Community Board over the last 3 years and to support and encourage our local community young people to achieve at a high level (through the Youth Ambassador Awards), help people prepare for potential and actual civil emergencies (through various information and planning events) and reflect the community's concerns and interests back to DCC.
I have always enjoyed contributing to our local communities. I read Thursday’s ODT editorial for Blind Low Vision NZ, am a Trustee on Dunedin Curtain Bank Board, usher for DSO concerts, bake for a national charity programme, and our donkeys visit care homes as St John Therapy pets.
In 2022, I was advised it takes a full term to understand how the system works, so I am offering my time and energy again to build on my experience and continue to serve this diverse community.
