I’m honoured to be a candidate for the Saddle Hill Community Board. I live in Waldronville with my husband, our three children and dog. I’ve lived here for 14 years, although I’ve lived in the Greater Green Island community for most of my life.
Being involved in our community is something I truly enjoy. I’ve helped organise local Neighbourhood Days, contributed to our local Facebook groups, and supported Neighbourhood Watch. I also spent 10 years on the Green Island Junior Rugby Club Committee and currently manage a football team at the Green Island Junior Football Club.
One achievement I’m proud of is helping advocate for the Balmacewen Intermediate/Otago Boys' bus service on behalf of local parents. This showed how listening to concerns and taking action can get real results. I’m committed to continuing that work and contributing positively alongside the board for the benefit of our community.
