My principal place of residence is in the Dunedin City Council area. I am also standing for Mayor.
My name is Mickey Kaahu Brockie Treadwell. Ōtepoti is proudly home, it's where I live, work and raise my whānau.
On Council I will prioritise: increasing the quality and quantity of homes in the city, advocating for South Dunedin throughout the flood adaptation process, providing more resources to our community groups, and improving representation of our student population in council decisions.
I’m a director of an independent game studio in South Dunedin. I’ve also sat on the board of Short Film Otago, and worked with Boosted to provide funding to local artists. I bring people with diverse skills to work together, and can lead people in the same direction.
The council needs to focus on the city’s people and its future. That means investing in the public good now to create a place where our tamariki can live and thrive.
