My principal place of residence is in the Dunedin City Council area.
You might know me through Firebrand, The Dunedin Store, Dunedin Stories, Youth Employment Success, Zonta, Chamber of Commerce, Business South and many other community support initiatives. I’ve led bold local and country-wide projects, served on national/regional boards, backed startup businesses, told community stories and supported young people to thrive in employment.
I don’t sit still. I connect, collaborate, build and get things done.
The business environment here has seen limited growth so in 2023–24 I explored business opportunities outside of Dunedin. Almost leaving. As I did it hit me - I am deeply Dunedin. My roots, work, whānau and legacy are here. If I walk away now, what message does that send? Time to standup for what matters.
I’m not running for a title but to deliver real change. I believe in planning for growth, backing community and building a Future Dunedin that dares to be great.
