My principal place of residence is in the Dunedin City Council area.
I’m the face of popular local Facebook group What’s News Dunedin?, an online community with over 18,500 members, many of whom support the forward-looking and progressive direction in which Ōtepoti Dunedin was heading until recently. I want to offer my skills, energy and positive outlook to stem the backwards slide, and instead push forwards. We need to be bold and brave! I support investing in community housing, zero carbon 2030 goals, improving public transport, a thriving CBD, improved accessibility, and a workable solution for South Dunedin. I moved to Ōtepoti Dunedin from the UK because I wanted to give my whānau and tamariki a better life and love the fact that we’ve settled in the best little big city in the world. I owe it to my son and daughters to ensure our city continues to progress by actively playing my part in a forward thinking, equitable and progressive council.
