Ōtepoti Dunedin’s mobile library Book Bus service will be reduced over the next few weeks while building maintenance is underway at the bus homebase in the Civic Centre.
The scheduled maintenance work is focused on health and safety improvements to the fire protection system in the parking and bus docking area of the Civic Centre, impacting the operational capacity for the Dunedin City Council’s two Book Buses.
The Book Bus service will still be available and follow the same routes, but at a fortnightly service instead of weekly.

The maintenance work is expected to take about seven weeks and the regular mobile library book bus service will resume once it is complete – expected to be in September.
