Jul 11, 2026 06.00 PM
Where:

Te Whare o Rukutia & Pearl Diver

Tāku Kati Karamea brings together two connected kaupapa as part of the Puaka Matariki Festival, creating opportunities for both reflection and celebration.

6:00pm – Hauora Kōrero | Te Whare o Rukutia I Free

Begin the evening with a community kōrero focused on hauora and wellbeing. Guided by the principles of Te Whare Tapa Whā, this session will explore ways we can support ourselves, our whānau, and our communities during the Māori New Year season. Free hauora resources will be available, alongside opportunities for discussion, connection, and reflection.

7:30pm – Live Music Event | Pearl Diver I $25 per person

The evening then continues at Pearl Diver with a showcase of Māori music, contemporary sounds, and local talent. The event features live performances from local artists, DJs, and rakatahi performers, creating a vibrant atmosphere of music, creativity, and whanaukataka.

Whether you're attending the hauora kōrero, the live music event, or both, Tāku Kati Karamea is about bringing people together, strengthening connections, and celebrating the Puaka Matariki season through wellbeing, culture, and community.

Hosted by WEKA.
