Proposed parking changes on Forth Street near Union Street East

The Dunedin City Council is proposing to replace three unrestricted car parks with three five-minute (P5) car parks on Forth Street near the intersection of Union Street East. The proposal would also replace 14 unrestricted car parks with 14 two-hour (P120) parks.

This change will encourage parking turnover in the area, supporting better access to the surrounding university campuses (e.g. for course attendance) by allowing more people to use the identified parking spaces.
