Stage 2 consultation
Consultation is carried out in two stages – in the first stage, we asked for residents’ opinions on the draft plan. Submissions were then considered in the formation of the draft plan.
In the second stage, which which was from 27 January 2025 until 31 March 2025, residents had their say on the draft Mosgiel Recreation Area Reserves Management Plan. Feedback is considered by the Council and fed into the final plan.

The proposed next steps
- The submission period is from Monday, 27 January 2025 to 5pm Monday, 31 March 2025.
- Council Hearing (if required, date to be decided), and consideration of all submissions.
- Adoption of a final plan.
