The sale of publicly owned assets has only ever acted to enrich the few at the cost of the many who actually paid for them. The end result will be slightly reduced rates and massively increased power costs as private business looks to recoup the price tag and a failing power network subsequently propped up by taxpayer dollars at the benefit of private business.
