Selling Aurora is a terrible idea. Yes, there is short-term financial gain, but this risks putting lifeline public infrastructure into third party hands and the people of Dunedin may bear the consequences in the future because of this. There are many examples of government sells offs that have not paid off in the long term, please don't add to this list. I'd suggest the sale of Forsyth Barr Stadium is a better option, or sell some green space for affordable housing - two birds, one stone.
