I'm concerned that the sale of a council owned business will end up costing the public more on their power bills, as the purchaser will be running the business for a profit. With the stated amount of debt owed by the company, there is no way that a purchaser would continue to run the company the same way - at a loss. This will obviously mean that the business will need to increase costs to the users - the public.
