It would be a terrible shame to see a fire sale of profitable assets, while other councils are calling for their councils to create money-making enterprises. I would like to see Aurora remain under DCC control with added opportunities for profit-generating schemes, such as electric bike and car charging stations, residential charging for eVehicles (at owners expense), new electric generation and sell-back schemes from solar houses, to the rest of the country. Let’s make Aurora’s unique network into an innovative, money generating asset for our city.
