The only logical option is to sell down public assets. Please note the expression public assets not DCC assets . Aurora belongs to the public . Personally I would have liked to see a valuation of all assets ie city forests not just Aurora to better determine which asset is better sold but sell something substantial is a must We the public can no longer afford Local Government loaded down with debt. I fully understand intergeneration debt and agree with it
Try selling the Stadium. I doubt if you would get a single bid esp when CHCH stadium comes on stream
