Selling community companies/assets is the dumbest idea ever....what they hell is wrong with you people we stupidly elected to run our city?. Most of you elected councilors are business people for crying out loud and you think the short term gain by made by selling our assets will benefit us......well it wont!!!!. whoever buys it being NZ owned or certainly overseas owned will gouge us and jack the price up for lines costs until we all cant afford to pay for electricity services not to mention take any profits offshore and not benefit our city...
Start holding the CEO's and directors of these companies accountable for crying out loud, don't give them bonuses, don't give them pay rises, make them bloody well earn the money our rate payers are paying them or get rid of them.
so wake the fuck up, grow a set of balls and get on and do the job we elected you to do...and its not bloody well selling our assets......
