While selling the business is a good thing for reducing the debt of the business, selling the business will only create increased costs to rate payers of an unknown cost due to a private entity having entitlement for preventative maintenance and ongoing line costs. This is the not a good idea when you go back and review the sales of all previously public owned assets through the years since the sale of all power generation properties and other public owned assets.
