Further comment
I would have concerns with Aurora Energy being sold to a private company. My reasons for this are:
* Council will lose control / say in managing these key assets
* Will no doubt have effect on Delta which is also a council owned company (risk it could lose maintenance contract??)
* The public may be worse off (private company may hike prices to increase profits)
* I presume the debt is due to the cost of maintenance and upgrades, if that is the case it's just shifting the debt around and the public will need pay for it regardless if it's council or privately owned.
* Is the fund really going to be better off in the long run?
