Further comment
Please do not sell Aurora Energy Ltd. While it is almost certain that ratepayers would pay more (due to debt servicing), we would retain a very valuable asset which is essential to the region. Selling this asset will result in profit-driven decisions and actions by the new owner/s being made. By retaining this asset, the DCC would be protecting both current and future generations of Otago residents from being price gouged by new profit-focused owners.
