Aurora Energy is an inter generational asset. A long term view is needed.
Retaining Aurora Energy means keeping control of an asset that in the future will pay off its debt and turn a profit while increasing in value.
Should we sell a strategic asset we all depend on?
Take Waipori , which has become a jewel in the crown for Manawa Energy Ltd, New Zealands largest independent electricity generator. The profits go north.
Dunedin ratepayers need to retain ownership.
