I would prefer to have it sold but ONLY if to some Trust or other entity where the profits come back to the people of Dunedin. If sold to private enterprise the interest of the shareholders will take precedence over the interests of the energy users. Just look at NZ Railways and English water. Energy is used by almost everyone, except the homeless, it should be regarded as an essential service and not just another opportunity for the wealthy to make money.
