The increased rise in power costs that will result as a consequence of the sale will far outweigh the effects of rate increases and the sale also means that DCC do not have to take responsibility for their poor performance or lack of vision, focus and competence in what the primary role of a council should be, ensuring that the city operates efficiently and effectively.
