The postbox flyers used such manipulative language to present option 1 as best. This is not the way to consult fairly.
Asset sales of a public good mean the end-user experience suffers as the new owners seek to maximise profits - not the well-being of residents which is also part of council's responsibility. So it would be a way of dumping this ethical duty, and this factor is conspicuously absent from the pros & cons lists.
