Absolutely ridiculous!! Parking outside the library is already at a premium. Restricting it even more is absurd. 8 parks for the whole of the west harbour community !!! Elderly library users would find parking in Grey St difficult as it is steep and if I understand the proposal of parking towards Carey’s Bay (MacAndrew Road?) would involve a length walk. Families with young children would also face the same difficulties. Where has this idea come from ?? As it is now logging truck drivers can see the crossing (and anyone on it) as they travel down George St.
