30 minutes for a library visit is ridiculous. There are events at the library, including for parents and children, lasting for longer than that and it's not practical to walk far with small children.
Personally I can't walk far and I often take longer than 30 minutes to park, get inside, take my books back and choose more, then get back to the car.
We use the library for research. How much research can anyone do in 25 minutes?
We use the service centre as well, for dog registration etc. But with multitasking staff, service isn't instant.
There are too few parks now but at least there's no rush to leave once you're there. Two hours would be more reasonable.
