Before you decide to go ahead with these changes, please drive around the area during the day to see the lack of all day parking in the greater area.
The people parking here, work in the businesses and they need somewhere to park all day. From the oval to Bays Junction roundabout, Ports month drive to past King Edward st there is very limited all day parking now, let alone with these proposed changes. Where are people meant to park ?? Do you have an empty block of land in the area that is available for parking? If not, don't change something that isn't broken just because KMart is coming. Otago land group is already looking at increasing parking by 84 parks at Mitre 10. Leave all day parking as is.
