The proposed changes will support the increased growth in the area, not just for Kmart but the increased growth of the other businesses in the area.
I think it would also be beneficial to the area to consider introducing additional unpaid parking time restrictions in front of the Frozen Direct/Coupland's/Bottle-O stores. This area is already congested and bringing extra people to the immediate area will escalate the issue. Increasing the short term parking in this area by just a couple parks will decongest the area significantly as there is a quick turnover of customers in these stores.
Bringing Kmart to South Dunedin is great for the area, however other businesses in the area need to be considered/supported for the changes Kmart will bring as well.
