A lot of the parks you are suggesting to change are currently used by workers for businesses in the area. Buses do not allow for everyone to get to work on time evertime.
Your poor thought for businesses in the area prior to giving consent to Kmart to go ahead without parking provision, just because parking is available at Mitre 10 is another short sighted decision that impacts local ratepayers. Previous consents for other large constructions in the area included council mandated parks for staff to minimise the impact on other businesses.
Stop making short sighted decisions that impact the average person just trying to live their life.
Try consulting before making the final decision to mitigate the impact of your decisions.
