Do you support or oppose the proposed changes?

What is your feedback on the proposed changes
Dear Sir or Madam.
Supermarkets in Dunedin are required to provide sufficient car parking for their customers.
Why is the same criteria not applied to the 'Kmart' store?
Briscoes have an upper level carpark. Why has this solution not been applied to 'Kmart'?
There are at least 70 car parks in the area the Traffic Regulation Team are proposing to change - that is 470 employees endeavoring to earn a living.
What alternative all day parking for that many vehicles do you envisage?
Andersons Bay Rd has very high density traffic flows especially large trucks and trailers. 'Kmart' customers will
be more than a little wary attempting to cross 4 busy lanes especially if not as able or if you have small children. the process will need to be repeated and carry the shopping also! Imagine a pedestrian crossing - the traffic have started off from a stop light, then stop at the crossing, then a little further on another stop light, another stop as a driver is trying to back into a park - the build up of traffic will be very frustrating and will back up maybe as far as the Oval. I don't envy the traffic wardens on the little bikes with all the heavy vehicles, trailers and cars.
I would like the team to give the proposed changes a great deal more thought as the impact will be far reaching for too many workers
Yours sincerely
